How it works
1. An employer posts a contract with an optional max budget.
2. Mercenaries bid a price (lowest bids float to the top).
3. The employer accepts a bid — that amount is locked in escrow from their CIB balance.
4. When the job is done the employer releases payment. If the mercenary bails, the escrow is refunded and the contract reopens.
